Day 1 – Beijing Arrival

Arrive in Beijing, China’s imperial capital, and settle into your boutique hotel.

We will wander the hutongs alleys, visit the summer palace, and breathe history in every brick of the Forbidden City.

In the evening, welcome dinner in one of the top Beijing duck restaurants with your travel family and guides, introduction to the adventure ahead.

Day 2 – The Chinese Great Wall

We rise early to explore a hidden, lesser-known section of the Great Wall, where winter’s may blanket the ancient stones in snow, a rare and magical sight.

After returning to the city for lunch, we’ll visit the Temple of Heaven, where emperors once prayed for good harvests beneath its perfect symmetry.

As night falls, we’ll toast to our first full day in China from one of Guomao’s stunning rooftop bars, surrounded by the glittering skyline of Beijing’s financial district.

Day 3 – Beijing to Shenyang (Train)

We board the high-speed train northeast to Shenyang (4-5h), the first Manchu capital.

After check in in the hotel, we will visit the Mukden Palace, a miniature cousin of Beijing’s Forbidden City, and explore the old quarters where Qing Dynasty history began.

Sample Shenyang’s winter cuisine: dumplings, stews, and hotpot to beat the cold.
